Licensing of Nano-Structure Green-Polymer Technology
The Nanostructure Research Center of the University of New Hampshire has licensed a green chemistry technology to Itaconix LLC, of New Hampshire.

The licensed green technology is capable of generating environmental friendly polymers from renewable sources.

In the last year The University of Hampshire was expected to get eight Granite State Technology Innovation Grants between $20,000 to $150,000.

Itaconix LLC, of New Hampshire is headed by Yvon Durant, associate professor in material sciences and John Shaw, president of Kensington Research Inc. The company is concentrating to develop renewable polymer for commercial use, they are planning to replace petroleum oriented chemicals found in detergents and other application by Poly (itaconic acid).
