Licensing of a Novel Technology in Drug Delivery
The Rutgers University has been licensed a novel technology related with Drug delievry to the Lux Biosciences.
The Rutgers University has developed libraries of polymer developed from naturally occurring amino acid. This kind of liberay of polymers is called second generation polycarbonates because it contains hydrolytically labile carbonate bonds.
The Matrix of the polymer allows interaction and stabilizes bonding relation with the drug molecule which we would like to embed and then transfer to the particular site inside the body. The polymer is 100% bio degradable inside the body and will not affect the other organelles.
